Packing the right clothes for travel in Europe, and getting the right mixture of style and comfort, is always a challenge. On a recent day trip to Bergamo, Italy, however, I think I hit on a winning travel style. I wore a midi length flower dress and paired it with super comfortable embroidered flower booties and a leather jacket. I was comfortable all day and looked stylish enough to go to dinner after a whole day of sightseeing. Be sure to check out my newest travel video below, and experience Bergamo for yourself.
Styling a Pink Coat
There’s something so chic about a pink coat. And I think I’m not the only one who feels that way. I see pink moto jackets, pink trench coats, pink wool winter coats and anything in between. And I want them all! Pink has almost become the new black.

Layering With a Blush Sweater
I’ve always been and black, white and grey kind of girl (woman?). But I have to admit that blush has slowly gotten under my skin. If I had unlimited disposable income, I would be rolling in blush clothing right now. But as it stands, I’ve allowed myself to get just a few blush pieces and not get carried away. And this blush sweater is one of my favorite pieces that I’ve added to my closet this year. It’s cashmere and so soft. And the color is divine.

Transitional Dressing
One thing I’m definitely going to miss when the warmer weather comes in spring is my favorite pom pom hat. I love transitional dressing – dressing for the in-between seasons, because it let’s me layer on. Layers are such an easy way to achieve a cool look. Add a bit of this, and a layer of that peaking underneath, mix in some great textures, and you have a killer spring outfit. The same formula works for fall outfits as well.

Waterproof: Dressing for cold, wet weather
Dressing for wet and cold weather has usually been a challenge for me. For one thing, I resisted getting rain boots for a very long time because I didn’t find them stylish enough. Plus, I don’t like rain jackets. So, staying dry and warm is not always easy for me.
