I’m in love with these blush pants (or let’s be honest, they are actually pink). I love the dusty rose color, and the loose, baggy fit. Wearing pink pants when you are not a four year old girl any more almost feels rebellious. And since I’m someone who is completely devoted to her skinny jeans (any color), I actually surprised even myself how much I enjoy wearing baggy pants.
Chambray has been the color of summer for me, and this chambray dress is one of my favorite pieces. I was so unsure when I was buying it. I liked it; there was no doubt of that. But it made me stretch outside of my comfort zone.
I’ve been wanting a white blazer for a while and admiring this linen one from J. Crew specifically from afar. I told myself that it’s too white for a mother of a small kid and that I’ll end up, inevitably, getting something on it that won’t come out.
I really like the off-the-shoulder trend, but for some reason I was not able to find an off the shoulder top that worked for me. I had decided that I needed one even as the snow was still melting, but was not able to find one that suited me until a few weeks ago. It was beginning to look like I would have to pass on the trend this summer and had all but given up on the whole quest.
When it comes to style, or most things, I’m a minimalist. I like clean and simple. But this summer, I’ve completely fallen in love with folk embroidery and my new folk embroidery dress.
