Wearing Pinks and Blushes into Fall

How to wear pink into fall like a style bloggerPink and blush have slowly been taking over my closet lately. Pink is becoming a go-to color for me and I plan to wear pink into fall and winter. And I’m not the only one.  Soft pinks and blushes are everywhere this fall. From pumps, to sneakers, to coats and moto jackets, pinks and blushes are all the rage.

Flower Pants

Street style blogger flower pants and chambray shirtThese are not wallflower pants, these are flower pants. There is no way you won’t be noticed in these paints, that’s for sure. Yet, for some reason, I don’t see these pants as bold at all. Maybe it’s the navy color. I shy away from bold statements with my clothes, hence the color palette of grey, black and white. But I’ve never shied away from wearing these pants.

Black, White and a Pop of Pink

Street style blogger denim jacket and white popover shirtI usually keep things simple, white, black, grey, denim. But when it comes to accessories, I love to add a pop of color with a colorful bag. And I have a soft spot for pink. I have pink high heels, pink sneakers (just got them and you’ll see them in an upcoming post or my Instagram feed) and pink bags.

A Statement Skirt to Transition into Fall

Street style blogger transitional weatherMy statement skirt is my life saver during transitional fall weather. I usually go for clean, simple and grey (notice the sweater and the boots), but when it comes to skirts, I love ones with flowers and interesting details.

Military Jacket With a Mini Dress

Style blogger street style military jacket and short dressA military jacket has been my staple outerwear for fall and spring for years now. I bought my first one in Amsterdam years ago (I remember that at the time people were already wearing them in Europe, but they were really hard to find in the US). But in a moment of “I need to purge my closet of old stuff” last summer, I donated it. I regretted it almost immediately as I started seeing stylish moms at the playground looking stylish and happy in their own military jackets.  And since then I had been on a hunt to replace it.
