Minimal in the kitchen


While I intend for this blog to be focused on minimalist style, minimal living, capsule wardrobes and Scandinavian interior design, I’ve decided to kick off the first post with a photo from last summer and my pick-your-own bounty from a local farm (all except the eggs; those were from the farm store).

But there is something very minimalistic about this photo and is in keeping with the theme of the blog. This blog is about living simply, but stylishly, and valuing quality over quantity. It’s a blog against the race to the bottom, of always looking for the “cheapest” without considering the true cost of something that is cheap (or as economists would say, the “negative externalities”). But that’s for another post.
