Throwing a wool poncho over a chunky sweater is a chic way to keep warm during cold days. I’m a big fan of layering. First, you can create new looks out of things you have in your closet anyways, and second, I love to pay with textures.
Because most of my outfits are so monochromatic, layers allow me to crate some interest through texture and different lengths. Plus, I live in the Northeast, so I need to find creative ways to stay warm. Otherwise I can spend 6 months in a long puffer jacket and that’s not a lot of fun.
So this winter I’m layering with this poncho. It not only works as a layer over sweaters, but it also works as a layer over moto and military jackets. It has really cool cutouts for the arms. And can double-up as a scarf.
